EDI software usually comes bundled with other benefits like free set up, instillation, and/or configuration at a minimum extra charge. Some software packages will also offer an extended warranty or option to upgrade service for a specific period of time.

The right time to install electronic data interchange software in your company depends on the needs of your business. Since the process of setting up and implementing EDI software takes a lot of time (from a few days to a few weeks), it is advisable to make a decision well before it becomes necessary to operate your business.
